Every book lover wants to see their favorite books adapted onto the big screen even if we end up hating it. And that is why we will be looking at all of the book adaptations coming to Prime in 2025.
Over the past decade, Prime has established itself as a go-to for many book adaptations. We all remember the Lord of the Rings and while it didn’t live up to the hype, we were excited to see it getting an adaptation.
Prime has done a good job and even though it can’t compete with Netflix, that doesn’t stop them. And they have released some great book adaptations such as Wheel of Time. And 2025 has some gems that might win many book lovers over
Book Adaptions Coming to Prime in 2025
The Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan is one of the biggest fantasy series and Amazon has done a good job of adapting it. Season three releases this year but out of nowhere, Amazon has cancelled the show. Season three received positive reviews but that doesn’t seem to be enough to keep it going.
Another Prime show that has made it to season three is Reacher. Let’s hope the future of Reacher is brighter than the Wheel of Time. Amazon has some popular IPs but they aren’t always sure how to handle them.
One of the bigger adaptations that many people are eager to see is The Summer I Turned Pretty. Season three will release on July and is the final season of the show. It will be interesting to see if there is a spinoff in the near future.
Lastly, we will be getting We Were Liars very soon. This adaptation should do very well and I can see it being a success and leading to another season.
Conclusion
Prime has some great adaptations and I do think they will only get better. They recently acquired the rights for Fourth Wing and that will make them a lot of money if they do it right.
