Former first lady Michelle Obama’s upcoming book tour will include some big names such as Oprah Winfrey, David Letterman, Hoda Kotb and Tyler Perry, and Ellen DeGeneres

The national book tour for her latest book The Light We Carry: Overcoming in Uncertain Times kicks of on November 15 and will make the first stop in Washington. The first host in Washington is none other than tv host Ellen DeGeneres.
Other stops in the tour include Philadelphia, Atlanta, Chicago, San Francisco and Los Angeles. Some of the moderators for these event include poet Elizabeth Alexander, Gayle King, Conan O’Brien, Tracee Ellis Ross, journalist Michele Norris and author Heather McGhee.
“I’m looking forward to making some new connections — and of course, seeing some familiar faces from the last tour,” Michelle Obama said about the upcoming tour in a joint statement with Roc Nation and publisher Crown.
“This book means so much to me — it’s a collection of perspectives and practices I’ve used to keep me afloat amid uncertainty. On this tour, I’ll be sharing some personal stories and lessons that have helped me along my path, and I can’t wait to tell you more.”
