Amazon is one of the biggest platforms when it comes to buying (and selling) books. That is why we will be looking at their list of the best selling books of the week and see what books are dominating the list and there are a few surprises.

August is coming to an end and we will be seeing some major releases in the upcoming months. August had some new gems but the best selling books are names that have been on the list for a good while. It is dominated by big name authors for the most part. You can see the full list of the best selling books below!

The Best Selling Books of the Week

It Ends With Us Tops the List

Colleen Hoover takes the top two spots with It Ends With Us and It Starts with Us. That is because of the recent release of the movie It Ends With Us that has been dominating the box office. Blake Lively has taken a hit on her image but the books have come unscathed and has helped them dominate various lists this month.

The next book on the list that we need to discuss is Onyx Storm by Rebecca Yarros. This novel won’t be released until January 2025 and yet it is selling this well over four months out. Yarros will definitely shatter records when Onyx Storm finally releases.

Lastly, I always like seeing The Women by Kristen Hannah on the list. This week, it is seventh and is still going strong since it was released in February. This will most likely be the best selling novel of 2024 and Atomic Habits will most likely make an appearance too. That came in sixth this week and higher than The Women even though it was released in 2018
