With July finally arriving, the summer heat will pick up as everyone heads to the beach to cool down. Many people will be bringing along a book and you may not recognize some of them as they just were released. Keep reading to find out about the 11 new books to check out in July 2023!

New Books To Read in July
This is a list that is going to appeal to many people as there are a bunch of great books. What is different about this list compared to other new releases for me is that I have read two books on this list. I received advanced copies to review a couple of the books and I enjoyed them a lot.
The first novel that I read was Silver Nitrate by Silvia Moreno-Garcia. It is a horror novel and it was an amazing novel. The writing, plot, historical anecdotes, and making it all into an amazing book showcases the talent of Moreno-Garcia. She is quickly becoming an amazing author and this novel is a must read if you love horror and magic!
I also received an advanced copy of Thick as Thieves by M. J. Kuhn and I ended up devouring both books in the Thieves series in less than a week. If you like novels such as Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo, then this is for you. Whereas Six of Crows deviates into the Grishaverse, this novel stays centered around thieves and heists and is a fun adventure novel.
A novel that I am looking forward to is Colson Whitehead’s Crook Manifesto. It is a sequel to Harlem Shuffle and continues the story of Ray Carney. He lives in Harlem and owns a furniture store and tries to live a clean life but gets caught up in stuff that may jeopardize his life and put his life in danger.
