Today I will be answering the prompt: If you could have a song play every time you enter a room, what would it be? I chose this one because I felt like it would be the most fun one to answer. Let’s see how it goes.
After thinking about this actually happening, I realized how tough of a prompt this is. One song for every moment in your life. Choose a party song and that is going to be very out of place at a funeral. Or at court. So yeah, choosing only one song is signing up for disaster.
But I shall try to answer this prompt. So, one of my all-time favorite song is I Write Sins Not Tragedies by Panic! at the Disco. That song cannot be played in most situations so that is big no. I would enjoy that song playing a lot though. Even at a funeral, I would be silently singing along to the song. It’s just that good.
My second choice would be Remember the Name by Fort Minor. A timeless song that is great motivation. My third choice would probably be Chasing Cars by Snow Patrol. An all-time classic that never gets old. I can make this list 30 songs long because I really like music.
But I’ll stop here before I end up diving deep into my childhood songs that I still listen to. Not as often as I like but I like to expose myself to new songs. What song would you choose?
