I will be answering the prompt “What drives you crazy?” I figured this topic would get a fun reply by me and anyone who is interested can also answer this prompt.
The first thing that came to mind I holiday music. Stores play them to death and I feel like being buried 6 feet deep so I don’t have to hear those songs. Don’t get me wrong, I like holiday music almost as much as the next guy. But they are always on repeat and seem to be everywhere.
And why do they start right the day after Halloween. It’s two constant months of holiday music. The songs itself are always recycled and it is nightmare on repeat for me. Holiday song seem to have sarged in popularity the last few years. Now, holiday songs make the top of the billboard charts and Mariah Carey makes a million dollars every year because of how much her song All I Want for Christmas is overplayed.
Another thing I hate a lot is honking. Why are they so damn loud. Some people press them as a response to any little irritation. And why are you honking at the school bus! He knows you will run a kid over just so you can wait at the light for 30 seconds…
What drives you crazy. I can name a few more things but those two were the ones that came to my head first.
People who don’t use turn signals. Nothing, nothing, nooooooothing (in Whitney Houston’s voice) annoys me more than that. It’s there, literally there, next to your steering wheel and it DOES matter! I cannot read your mind, I wish I did but I seriously don’t. Gaaah, just thinking about this makes me angry :))
Yea that irks me also!
As someone who, due to religious reasons, doesn’t celebrate Christmas, I do like holiday music, but it does drive me crazy as well.
People being opportunistic. When I see anybody ‘taking the chance’ without caring who they may affect, doesn’t matter what that is: installing themselves one place ahead of you in the line, lying, paying a bribe to be put first… and if there is pride on the person being opportunistic, I need to make a bog effort not to become a Hulk and give them a big scare.
And yes, holiday music. But more than Christmas music, there is this one song in Mexico, and oldie now, about the sanctity of motherhood. Every Mother’s Day is the same, exactly the one same song, in repeat, eternally. I just can’t.
Hi everyone, may I chime in as well? 🙂
Once thing, that really drives me crazy is, when people are oblivious to their surroundings. A prime example would be at the grocery store. They leave their cart in the middle of the aisle, without concern of whether or not another shopper tries to get through. Or they block a shelf, knowing that you’re waiting for them to finish, and they take their sweet time. That is one of many things….LOL.
