If you told me to guess the most searched books of 2025, I wouldn’t get more than one guess correct. The one book I would correctly guess is Onyx Storm because that was the biggest book of 2025. But surprisingly, it wasn’t the top searched book of 2025.
Instead, it is an author that might end up as the best selling author of the 2020s when it is all set and done. What I love about this list is that it is all over the place. It has some of the biggest books of the past few years but also includes classics that people are revisiting. You can see the full list below!

Would you have correctly guessed that Regretting You by Colleen Hoover was the most searched book of 2025? Colleen Hoover has had the book world in her palms for the past few years. With Hollywood adopting her books, she is going to stay relevant for a long time.
This list is truly all over the place and I love it. But as a fan of classic novels, I love seeing titles such as Frankenstein, It, Animal Farm, and The Witcher on the list. I have reviewed half of them but I will be revisiting them so people can find them and truly appreciate them.
The data is from January 2025 to November 28, 2025 and it makes sense. Just like most lists, they have to cut off at November or they’ll have to wait till January 1st, 2026 to release the list. What I would prefer is an updated version of the list after the year is over.

These are the most Google’s most searched books of 2025 and I was surprised by what everyone is searching. As a book lover, I am repeatedly reminded of how less and less people are reading. But I am also hopeful that more people will want to read after seeing other people enjoying these amazing works.
Yes, I might be a little too optimistic and can only hope. Google isn’t perfect and I am not a fan of AI. But a simple list like this is fine with me and I loved seeing classic novels make the list.
