2025 Booker Prize Shortlist Announced

The 2025 Booker Prize shortlist nominees have been announced.

Six books were selected for the shortlist and the books are from all over the world. Two of the books have yet to be released in the United States.

Some of the judges on the panel include names such as Sarah Jessica Parker, Ayòbámi Adébáyò, and Kiley Reid. You can see the selected books below!

• The Loneliness of Sonia and Sunny by Kiran Desai
• Audition by Katie Kitamura
• The Rest of Our Lives by Benjamin Markovits
• The Land in Winter by Andrew Miller
• Flesh by David Szalay

The winner of the Booker Prize Award for 2025 will be announced in London on November 10. The winner will receive 50,000 pounds, which is around $67,00.

I have read many books because they have won or had been nominated for a Booker Prize Award. Those novels always live up to my expectations even when I give it less than four stars. The writing style, plot, and techniques are undeniable and you have to appreciate that even if you didn’t enjoy the novel.

The Booker Prize Award was first given out in 1969 and is considered one of the most prestigious awards in literature. Last year, the award was given to Orbital by Samantha Harvey and I actually read this novel within the past month and strongly recommend it to anyone who loves space.
