March showers bring new books in April! It is officially April and Amazon has made sure we know what the best new books to read are. So, keep reading to find out what are Amazon’s best books of April 2025!

Over the past few years, even as far as the past decade, Amazon has quietly become respectable when it comes to books. They are always in the know and because they sell books, almost every publisher will let them read the new books first. 

That means Amazon has a good idea of what books are going to do well with readers and critics alike. The counterargument would be that Amazon is reading hundreds of books and that is no easy task. Some books won’t be good but they’ll have to finish them no matter what.

What I like about these lists is that they highlight works that may not get recognition otherwise. And they tell you why they liked the book. I have added a bunch to my reading list and that was also true for this month’s selection. You can see their picks below!

New Books That I Will Be Checking Out

There are some amazing books on this list. Tilt by Emma Pattee seems like it will garner traction for some awards and I might have to give it a read before the end of the year. 

The book that I am most interested in is No More Tears: The Dark Secrets of Johnson & Johnson by Gardiner Harris. I love exposes and learning about companies and their dirty laundry. We live in the age of information and yet companies can hide in plain sight with nobody the wiser.
