Welcome back to our weekly newsletters. In today’s newsletters, we will cover what the future of this blog will be and what I have been reading and some major books news that needs sharing. So keep reading for all of that and more!

Free Weekly Newsletters

Starting this week, we will be posting a weekly newsletter to keep everyone updated about all things Books of Brilliance. The first major thing I want to share besides the newsletter update is that we will be focusing more on book reviews instead of book news as we usually do. the main reason is that Google sucks and has changed for the worst over the past year.

Smaller blogs have been neglected with their new policies and so I won’t be writing stuff to satisfy Googe’s algorithm. The original goal of this blog was to share my thoughts on my favorite books and to encourage others to read them as well as helping them find new books to read. That is going to be the main goal of this blog once again going forward.

Speaking of book reviews, I have been churning a lot more out. I have returned to my quest of reading every Agatha Christie book and have uploaded three reviews in the past week. There have been other book reviews and I will be a lot more consistent.

Right now, I am reading a lot more than I ever have before and will be reading a lot more books than I ever have before. Every book review is a book that I have read. My reading goal is over a 100 books this year and I am on pace with having read 16 books already. And I will be writing reviews for almost all of those books.

Onyx Storm

Lastly, we have to talk about Onyx Storm by Rebecca Yarros and her latest novel selling over 2.7 million copies in its first week. I can’t remember a book selling that much since Harry Potter. The romantasy genre is thriving and Yarros and Sarah J. Maas are the two faces of the genre and are helping millions of people enjoy reading.

I will eventually review Onyx Storm and will also read the typical fantasy novels that made me fall in love with the genre. Another popular other with a big release recently is Freida McFadden and she seems to release a new novel every few months. She has also risen to stardom and doesn’t plan to stop anytime soon.

That is all for this week’s newsletter and I will try to be more consistent with these going forward. There is always a lot to cover and I will continue figuring out what I can share in these newsletters that I can’t always share on the blog posts. Happy reading!
