With the new year finally here, we can take a look at a full week and see what the best selling books of the week were. Keep reading to se e which novel topped the list in the first week of 2025!
This list covers California only as the data comes from the California Independent Booksellers Alliance (CALIBA). We will take a look at another list that is national but for this article, we are only looking at California.
The best selling hardcover book of the week was All Fours by Miranda July. The novel was released in May 2024 and I imagine it saw an uptick in sale after making many end of year lists. This is a novel that I will be adding to my to-read list and seeing if the hype is real.
The best selling paperback was Orbital by Samantha Harvey and this list is reflective of the most popular books of the year. You can see the full list below!
