The Most Read Books of the Week on Goodreads

Like weekly bestseller lists, we also like browsing weekly lists of the most read books to see what is trending and what everyone is reading. This gives us a general idea of popular authors and what genres are popular with readers currently.

That is why we will be looking at Goodreads list of the most read books of the week. If anyone knows what the general public is reading, then it is definitely Goodreads. And while the target audience does lean towards younger readers, it still provides a good view of what authors and books are having a moment. You can see the full list below!

It Ends With Us Tops the List

Just when we thought Colleen Hoover was finally leaving the charts, the movie adaptation has helped the novel dominate the charts again. That has led it to become the most read book of the week. All press is good press it seems like as Blake Lively is being called out for her fueds and past interviews. That might affect the box office numbers but the novel seems to be unaffected by the negatice Lively press.

There is little change to this list besides the order. The Women by Kristen Hannah comes in second this week as no new novels seem to have made an impact. A new novel that cracked the top 12 is The God of the Wood by Liz Moore. Otherwise, every other book was on the list last week.
