The first half of 2024 has come and gone and we have seen many amazing books released over in this time period. Vox wasted no time and released this list of the best boos of the first half of 2024. Keep reading to see which books they chose!

I still can’t believe the first half of the year is over. But I can say, this has been an amazing six months for new books. Normally, I wait a while to read new released but that hasn’t been the case this year. Like everyone else, I am still trying to go through some of the best books from last year but some books you can’t put off.

Vox’s list is an interesting one because many of these books are unfamiliar to me. With so many new released, it is impossible to track all of them. That is why I often wait till the end of year lists and have a better idea of what the best books are. Time will tell how many of these books end up making the end of year lists.

The Best Books of 2024 So Far

But if you hold Vox in high regard or need a new book to read, then this the list for you. My guess is that Vox decided to choose books that aren’t as mainstream because besides The Hunter by Tana French, I don’t recognize any of them. Not having The Women by Kristin Hannah here makes me reaffirm my guess that this list is meant to highlight books that have gone under the radar.
