There were some great new releases in February that we loved. Nothing beats that feeling of anticipation as you wait for a specific book to be released and when it is released, it surpasses every expectation. That was the case for Kristin Hannah’s latest novel, The Women. Critics and reader both loved the novel, helping it sell a lot of copies.
But just because this list focuses on the month of February doesn’t mean that every book was released that month. In fact, six books on the list were released in previous months. Some books rise to popularity later as new readers discover books and then there are books that never seem to go away. You can see the ten best selling books of February below.

The Women is the Best Selling Book of February

Topping the list is in fact Kristin Hannah and her latest novel The Women. She has made a name for herself with amazing novels over the years. And now, she seems to have become a recognized and respected author with a large following. It also helps when you write yet another amazing book that critics and fans alike can’t stop talking about.
In second place was If Only I Had Told Her by Laura Nowlin, a companion book to l If He Had Been With Me (which came in at tenth place) told from a different point of view. Fans loved this novel and it helped that it was part of a popular and beloved book that fans couldn’t wait to read.
Romantasy Genre Dominates the List
Coming in at third place is novel that was published in 2020. And no, you didn’t read that wrong. Sarah J. Maas is having a moment and all of her books have seen an increase in sales. Leading the pack is her novel A Court Of Thorns And Roses. Her publishing company Bloomsbury increased their annual projections because of how much Maas’ books were selling.
In sixth and seventh place are two books by Rebecca Yarros. Her novels Fourth Wing and Iron Flame are both part of the Empyrean series that has become one of if not the biggest romantasy series our right now. Three of the top seven book on the list are romantasy novels and I expect these books to stay consistently on these lists.
Taylor Swift’s Book Makes the Top Ten
The popularity of Taylor Swift knows no bounds. She is dominating the music world with her music and that success has carried over to books. Her book Taylor Swift: A Little Golden Book which was released almost a year ago is still selling strong. No other celebrity has this kind of gravity, especially not in a category that is not their main one. But with a big and loyal fanbase like Swift’s, anything is possible.
Conclusion
These are the ten best selling books of February 2024. Kristin Hannah topped the list and we saw books published in other months dominate the list. The romantasy genre is showing how successful it is and how it is changing the publishing world with its success.
We also saw what a big following can do as Sarah J. Maas and Taylor Swift’s books made the list. For Mass, her novel is selling well even though it was released four years ago. And we all know Taylor Swift is one of the biggest celebrities in the world. What did you think of this list? What new books do you expect to see for the month of March?
