To celebrate Dr. Seuss’ 120th birthday, Dr. Seuss Enterprises is giving out free books to any children born that day
Yes, you read that right. Any baby born on March 2, 2024 to U.S. residents and Washington D.C will be eligible to receive a free The Cat in the Hat book. Supplies are limited and it is a come first bases capping at 10,000 total copies. The entrants must be 18 or older and must be parents or legal guardians of the child.
To claim the free book, the parents would have to submit their full name, email address, mailing address, phone number, baby’s name and upload proof of the child’s March 2, 2024, birthdate. They have 90 days starting on March second until May 31 to claim the copy.

“Helping ensure all children have easy access to books and literacy programs has always been one of Dr. Seuss’s core missions. This pledge is an opportunity for us to honor this storied legacy and call attention to this noble cause,” said Susan Brandt, CEO & president of Dr. Seuss Enterprises.
Every book will come with a personalized message that will celebrate the shared birthday with Dr. Seuss. The books will be donated by Dr. Seuss Enterprises to Random House Children’s book who are the ones distributing it.
Born Theodor Geisel, Dr. Seuss was born in March 2, 1904 and is one of the most popular children’s author of all time. His books include The Cat in the Hat and Green Eggs and Ham and have stayed popular his death in 1991.
