Even the greatest authors sometimes overlook something. For Martin, it was Shae’s feelings for Tyrion. It isn’t often when we say a character on a TV show was better than the books. But A Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon build out their characters and makes the audience understand the driving force of the characters and why things happened the way they did.
