If you haven’t read Dracula and want to, this is a great way to. And if you have read it, then this will be a great twist on the classic novel. Dracula Daily is a newsletter that will email you “letters, diaries, telegrams, newspaper, clippings” that happen on the day they send it.
How to Join
It is easy to join the newsletter. All you have to do is visit https://draculadaily.substack.com and join the newsletter. And just like that, you will be getting emails and follow along.
Is it Free?
Yes, the newsletter is free. You are getting a free copy of Dracula in parts in your email.
Start Date
The newsletters will start going out on May 3rd and go on till November 7th. Some days you will get a bunch to read and then there might be days of nothing. The emails are sent out when something happens on that date in the novel.
If you do not want to follow along, you can always opt out. The newsletter is sent out every year and you’ll be automatically enrolled for the next year.
Commentary
I came across this randomly and thought it was a cool concept and wanted to share it. This should be something that other books should also do but most books have copyright laws that prevent it.
As someone who has recently read Dracula, I am eager to experience it in this format. The merging of old books and new technology makes for a great partnership. And this is a great way for younger readers to read a literary classic!
