We may never get everyone to agree if audiobooks count s reading a book or not. But that didn’t stop millions of people to listen to audiobooks. And we have a list of the ten most listened to audiobooks in 2025!

I am all for audiobooks even though it isn’t a medium I use myself. Sometimes people can’t read books and audiobooks is the best way for them to read the book. Life is hectic and so many things happen in a day.

Even if you don’t consume audiobooks, don’t make it your identity when others prefer to use audiobooks over reading physical books. But enough about that and let’s dive into the most listened to audiobooks in 2025.

The data for the most listened to audiobooks in 2025 was gathered from Libro.fm. They partner with independent bookstores which allows people to support their local bookstores. And Libro released their list of the top 10 audiobooks of 2025.

I didn’t think that the most listened to audiobook of 2025 was Everything is Tuberculosis by John Green but I am glad that it is. The book is about the world’s deadliest infectious disease and Green dives into stories, making sure readers know everything there is to about tuberculosis.

Most of the books on this list are popular books and authors that had a big year. Onyx Storm was one of the biggest books of 2025 and the top selling book if I’m not mistaken. Sunrise of the Reaping was right behind it, showcasing the staying power of The Hunger Games over a decade later.

I have only read Katabasis from this list and I loved every second of it. And I will be reading a bunch of books from this list.
