Taylor Jenkins Reid Is Releasing a New Book This Spring

Bestselling author Taylor Jenkins Reid is releasing a new book in Spring 2025 after a two-year hiatus.

You may knew her best from her books The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo and Daisy Jones and the Six. They have been chart toppers and some of the most read books of the past couple of years. That trend will continue with her latest book, Atmosphere, which will be releasing on June 3, 2025.

Atmosphere is about two astronauts falling in love and takes place in the 1980s when the space shuttle program was happening. Books about space are always interesting and I am curious how Reid will approach this novel.

“Atmosphere is Taylor Jenkins Reid at her best: transporting readers to iconic times and places, with complex protagonists, telling a passionate and soaring story about the transformative power of love, this time among the stars,” says a press release by publisher Penguin Random House.

“I wanted so badly to tell a story that was life or death, where the stakes were so immediate — and we understood that it might not always go the way that we want it to go,” Jenkins Reid said to Vogue. “There’s something beautiful to be found in this heightened moment.”

Reid has had a successful run with her bestseller Daisy Jones and the Six being adapted into a popular Netflix show. And Netflix is in the process of adapting The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo into a TV show in the near future. And if Atmosphere lives up to the hype, it will also see an adaptation down the line.
