Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 261 Leak; Sukuna Sees Gojo in Front of Him

The leaks for Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 261 are out and they are all everyone is talking about. The fact that JJK261 was trending on twiiter before the leaks even happened showed how much everyone was waiting for the leaks and we finally know what happened. Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 261 Leak

Chapter 261 (leaks here) starts off with Sukuna punching Itadori and using Domain Expansion but he sees Gojo in front of him. It is officially confirmed that the person in front of him is indeed Gojo. He pushes Gojo away and realizes what has happened.

Sukuna realized that the person in front of him is not the original Gojo but Yuta Okkotsu in Gojo’s body. The chapter goes on to explain how Yuta came up with the plan to use Gojo’s body using Kenjaku’s technique which allows Yuta to change bodies.

So yes, Gojo is back but just his body and not the man himself. Fans of Gojo are not going to be happy with this as it means that the real Gojo is officially dead. As anyone that has been reading this, they shouldn’t be too surprised. Gege Akutami is known to hate Gojo and I couldn’t imagine him bringing Gojo back in the fight. It would ruin everything Gege had built in this fight.

But now, we will get an even stronger version of Gojo in the upcoming fight. Both Sukuna and Yuta-Gojo used their domain expansion and we will have yet another faceoff between their domians. But now Gojo’s body will be able to use Yuta’s techniqies as well as Rika during the fight. So this domain fight will be nothing like the previous one.

My prediction that it wasn’t Gojo was sort’ve wrong but I did not believe that Gege would ever bring Gojo back. But even I couldn’t predict that Yuta would swap bodies with Gojo. He is willing to go to any length to defeat Sukuna, no matter what line he has to cross.

I am not the biggest fan of this twist but I am excited about the upcoming fight and how Yuta-Gojo will combine the power of both of them. This feels like the end goal for Gege from the start and it makes sense why Sukuna was this powerful. The only thing left is Itadori’s domian expansion and at this point, I can speculate that it will be the key to saving Megumi.

When will Chapter 262 be released?

Now that we have this amazing cliffhanger, everyone is eager to read the next chapter. It will be a wait as chapter 261 has yet to be officially released on May 26. There will be a two weak break so the earliest we will get the leaks is on June 6th.

Gege knows how to keep the excitement going and I can’t wait when this arc is adapted into the anime. This fight has been going on for a long time and yet, Gege has been able to keep readers hooked. And the second battle between Sukuna and Gojo will be even more epic as Yuta and Rika will be using their powers alongside Gojo’s powers.
