Author Andrzej Sapkowski has said that he has been working on a new The Witcher book on a podcast.
He was asked whether he was working on any upcoming projects and replied, “a new book about Witcher.”
New The Witcher Book

This is the first The Witcher book in 10 years. In 2013, Sapkowski wrote Season of Storms, which was a standalone prequel. The new novel is won’t include Geralt or Ciri since Sapkowski believes those stories are complete.
Sapkowski went on to elaborate “I never say these things with me because you never know … Maybe I’ll do something, maybe I won’t. And so far, when I said that I would write something, and then I didn’t write it, people complained as if I had deceived them and as if I had lied.”
“That’s why I don’t like to talk about what I’m doing until I finish doing it. Because until I finish it, I don’t think it exists. But since I always make exceptions for Ukrainians, I will do it this time too.”
New Book in a Year
The author closed his statement saying that the novel would “take a year, but no longer.” That means fans can expect a new novel in either 2024 or 2025.
