Fans of Harry Potter will have something to look forward to this year as a new book featuring the boy wizard is scheduled to release near the end of the year. Keep reading to find out everything you need to know about the new Harry Potter books.
New Harry Potter Book To Release in 2024
Titled “Christmas at Hogwarts”, the book will feature artwork from Ziyi Gao and will be released by Scholastic and Bloomsbury. The texts for the novel are from when Harry celebrated his first Christmas in Hogwarts in Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone (or Sorcerer’s Stone if you live in the United States).
Gao is a Beijing born illustrator and has this to say about the new Harry Potter book.
“Though the owl delivering my acceptance letter to Hogwarts missed me, I consider myself immensely fortunate to have become one of the illustrators for this beloved series of books, contributing to the construction of its world with my own vision,” she said.
“In this book, I have woven together elements from the enchanting wizarding world and traditional Christmas festivities. I wish to bring an immersive visual experience for every child and adult longing to spend a happy Christmas alongside Harry and his friends at Hogwarts.”
Christmas at Hogwarts Release Date
The book will be released on October 15 and will be released by Bloomsbury in the U.K. and by Scholastic in the U.S. The novel will be available in 31 languages when it is released.
