That’s okay but how come black writers from Africa are not mentioned here?are their works inferior from this reviewers’point of view?or are we still witnessing the white supremacy in play here?even in thought?bane!
Please , be reasonable . This is literature we’re discussing , not racial politics.
Black , White , Eskimo , Asian , on and on . The wrong forum for that knee jerk emoting. Stop , we’re tired of it .
We, who? Plenty of well-educated people understand the value and enjoyment bof reading widely, as well as the damage done by the monoculture lists of recommendations that get passed slong and repeated, down to the typos.
It depends on the award, but I don’t let experts, so-calked or actual, determine what I read. Read widely from around the world. Take the time to learn about good writing. Some of the must-reads aren’t well-written, profound, or even entertaining.
I prefer Non-Fiction. You read whatever you wish. A worthless, unsafe automobile, even IF awarded,…you get the idea! Happy motoring!
This is Ahaqir personal choice. Mine is completely different.
