One of the most respected publications out there has to be Oprah Daily. Oprah’s Book Club is easily the most popular one out of all the book clubs. To not show any bias, any book that was chosen for Oprah’s Book Club was excluded from this list.
That might suck for those books but getting selected by Oprah’s Book Club instantly makes a book a bestseller so it isn’t a bad tradeoff. This is a great way to give other books the spotlight they deserve. You can see the full list below

I’ve read THE HEAVEN AND EARTH GROCERY STORE, AGE OF VICE and THE UNSETTLED. All were captivating, none great literature. Perhaps that’s enough. Of the three, THE HEAVEN AND EARTH GROCERY STORE was the best aesthetically, while THE UNSETTLED aimed to do too much and would have been a better book if it had stayed in the present and skipped the segues into past generations. AGE OF VICE was very “unputdownable”, lots of action, crime, filled with horrid greedy people.
