Three Interesting Books
The list includes three very different books and that is always refreshing. As you can probably guess, Johnson came across these books to learn more about the topic at hand. He read the novel Pimp: The Story of My Life by Iceberg Slim to learn more about it after watching a movie about it.
Outliers: The Story of Success is a book that is on a lot of lists. That is motivating me to read it even though I prefer fiction. Many people have this book on their list and I want to read it to see why it constantly shows up. Maybe even learn a few things while I’m at it.
The last book on the list is The Art of Making a Rampage by Ellen Wolff. It showcases the behind the scenes of the movie Rampage starring Dwayne Johnson. This looks like more of a promotion for a friend than anything else but that is ok. As long as Wolff provides great synopsis of the visual effects, then that is all that matters.
This is an interesting list and I have to say, I have not read any of these books. Maybe that will change in the near future. What did you think of Dwayne Johnson’s 3 book recommendations and how many of these have you read?
