Today, while releasing my latest post, I realized it was my 300th post. That is an accomplishment I did not seeing happen. When I started this blog a little over two years ago, I had a vision for it but didn’t know how long it would last. I knew I wanted to review books that I read but didn’t know if people would read them or not.
A Two-Year Journey
There were many times where I felt like it was all for naught and I would stop writing. But I would come back a few months later and start writing vigorously. And take another break. This went on for two years and I am on my longest streak of constantly writing and seeing the increased viewership, reader feedbacks, and accomplishments, I can say it has been worth it.
Just a couple of minutes ago, I saw the message “50K Congratulations!” pop up. That is a lot of views and something I could never have imagined. Even thinking about it now is overwhelming. First off, I want to thank everyone has who has taken the time out of their day to read any of my blog posts. My goal was to share the fantastic books I read and help others find choose what to read next and that is still the goal albeit with a bit more news related posts.
What To Expect
Currently, I have a lot of the books that I read posted here and the ones I haven’t are mostly because I found some books harder to summarize. With some more time and as I get better at writing reviews and blog posts, I may be able to post those also.
In the near future, I do want to challenge myself and try something new. You will see a bunch of short stories posted that once completed will be released as novels on Amazon Kindle. It will be learning process and I hope you enjoy the stories as much as I do writing them.
Book Club Update
Lastly, I will be launching a book club in the near future once Amazon finally accepts my application and lets me launch it. I still haven’t decided what book it will be but once the book club is open to everyone, I will post a blog post and post them invitation link as well as the monthly book that we are reading.
I hope you keep reading my blog posts because I do enjoy writing them. Happy reading!
