Sarah J. Maas fans have a new way to collect A Court of Splintered Harmony. RBmedia has announced a vinyl collector’s edition of ACOTAR 6, limited to 10,000 copies worldwide, with sales launching October 27 at noon Eastern.

The detail to understand before ordering: the records feature the prelude and first three chapters, while a digital code supplies the complete audiobook. Elizabeth Evans narrates the recording.

For collectors, that makes the buying decision about the physical edition, artwork and extras as well as the listening experience. Here is what to check before choosing a copy.

What Is Included in the ACOTAR 6 Vinyl Edition?

RBmedia describes a package containing three records, a deluxe jacket, art postcards, bookmarks, a poster and an updated map of Prythian. Illustrator Juan Nares created the artwork.

The standard edition’s product listing specifies three 12-inch records in a trifold jacket, three frameable postcards, three double-sided bookmarks and one double-sided poster. It also lists a “Note to Reader” alongside the opening audio selections.

If you collect special editions primarily for display, look closely at the jacket and artwork before buying. Consider where you would actually keep the set: alongside your books, with a record collection or in a dedicated display. That is a more useful test of its appeal than the limited-edition label alone.

Which Vinyl Variants Are Available?

The official store lists three versions:

EditionRecord color or distinguishing feature
Standard EditionCanary-magenta vinyl
Limited EditionHot-pink splatter vinyl
Hand-Numbered Limited EditionHot-pink splatter vinyl, with hand-numbered presentation

The store describes the hand-numbered version as purple, while its records are hot-pink splatter. That distinction matters when comparing the photographs: “purple” should not be read as the record color. Source: official store

Choose the version whose design you prefer and whose checkout total fits your budget. Hand numbering may appeal to collectors, but it does not establish future resale value.

Where Can You Buy It, and Will It Be Restocked?

The official ACOTAR vinyl store is the exclusive sales destination. Its FAQ limits purchases to one per customer and describes the release as a one-time pressing, with no restock or waitlist after it sells out. Availability can change after this article is published.

There is also a useful checkout detail: the FAQ says having more than one item in your cart can trigger an error claiming the order cannot ship to your address. Removing the extra item is the store’s suggested fix.

Before paying, check the selected currency, delivery destination and complete total. A dollar sign by itself is not enough to establish that you are viewing U.S. pricing.

Does the Full Audiobook Code Arrive Immediately?

Do not assume you will receive it by email after checkout. The product listing says a Spotify audiobook code is included in the shipment. Readers planning to listen immediately should account for that delivery method before ordering.

For this purchase, separate two questions: “Do I want the physical collector’s set?” and “When do I want to start listening?” A collector’s order may satisfy the first without meeting your preferred timing for the second.

What Should Buyers Know About Shipping and Returns?

The official pages give different estimates. Product listings ask buyers to allow two to eight weeks for fulfillment, while the FAQ says orders typically ship within two to six weeks. Treat these as estimates and check the current listing before purchasing.

The FAQ also says orders cannot be modified after placement and returns are not accepted. It directs buyers with transit damage to contact support with photographs.

For a gift, leave room for fulfillment and delivery rather than planning around the earliest estimate. Double-check the recipient’s address before submitting the order.

Is the ACOTAR 6 Vinyl Edition Worth Buying?

My recommendation is to judge it as a physical collectible with an opening-chapter listening experience. If the artwork, colored records and presentation are what excite you, those are the features to compare across editions.

If your priority is simply hearing the story, compare the regular digital audiobook option before paying for a collector’s package. You do not need to want every format to enjoy a new release.
