The question I find most interesting for the sequel is what justice looks like when Kyrene’s desire for revenge and her feelings for Septimus pull her in different directions. That is an interpretation of Book 5’s premise, not a confirmed description of the unpublished novel. The same goes for any prediction about which gods survive or whether other familiar characters return.

Why does Book 6 matter to the whole series?

The first duet follows Oraya and Raihn; the second follows Mische and Asar; the third turns to Kyrene and Septimus. Each pair gives the world of Crowns of Nyaxia a different center of gravity.
