Whidbey

The novel that jumps from this list for me is Whidbey by T Kira Madden. It is a powerful novel that everyone should read. It asks important questions that we are facing in real time.
A man with a dark history is murdered and three women are affected by him and his sudden death. Birdie was sexually assaulted by him man as a child. Linzie was also a victim of his and wrote a tell-all memoir about it. And lastly, we hear from his mother Mary-Beth who has a hard time believing that her son was capable of these horrendous acts.
Dopamine Kids

In the age of technology and social media and instant gratification, we are all coming to reckoning. It affects children and adults alike. And then there’s junk and fast food that we know isn’t good for us.
In Dopamine Kids by Michaeleen Doucleff, PhD, we are given a solution that might remedy all of it. To understand the impact, you have to know how and why you feel the way you do. And why what you watch and eat plays a big role in your life and the people you care about most. Because it is changing the way we live and how our brains work.
Apple: The First 50 Years

At this point, it feels like all that is there to be covered about Apple has been covered. But there is always another book that unearths another angle and we can’t help but read them.
CBS Sunday Morning contributor David Pogue has decided to look at Apple’s impact on our culture. From how we communicate, what we listen to, what we watch, and how we pay for things. And as Pogue shows, it is many people, not just Steve Jobs that has made Apple what it is today.
Lake Effect

by Cynthia D’Aprix Sweeney
There is a good chance you have heard of Cynthia D’Aprix Sweeney as she has a couple of bestsellers under her belt. Now, she returns with Lake Effect and it is new territory for her and yet she navigates it all with ease.
Nina Larkin has just separated with her husband and receives a book titled The Joy of Sex as a gift from a friend. That makes her feel lonelier and what follows is an affair with her neighbor.
But he happens to be the father of her daughter’s secret boyfriend. The effect of these two events merges the two families together and has repercussions that are felt decades later. As someone who loves the old New York vibes, I highly recommend it just because it takes place in the 1970s in Rochester, New York.
This Story Might Save Your Life

It might be early but I think one of the biggest books of the year might be This Story Might Save Your Life by Tiffany Crum. It is a romantic thriller novel that has done well and I expect Crum to become a fan favorite very soon.
Joy and Benny ar best friends who host a very popular podcast in which where they dissect bizarre survival stories. They are about to sign a multi-million dollar deal but before they can, Joy and her husband Xander are discovered to be missing by Ben.
The police suspect Ben and unless he can solve this mystery, he might end up behind bars. A memoir written by Joy is the only clue Ben has and it goes all the way back to their early years. What hints did Joy leave that will help Ben find her and Xavier before it is too late?
These are Amazon’s must read books of March and I love the diversity chosen by Amazon Editors. No matter what you like to read, there is something for you to read here. I know I will be adding a bunch of these books to my reading list.
I am a big fan of Amazon’s monthly picks and you can tell that Amazon does not take these lists lightly. With so many books to choose from, They did a good job in my opinion. Few publications have the resources to do what Amazon does and they take their job very serious.
What books from Amazon’s list of the best books of March are you likely to read? What other books would you also include? Let us know in the comments below. Until next time, happy reading!
