The Most Read Fiction Books of 2025

The most read fiction book of 2025 is The Wedding People. This novel was released in July 2024 and has become one of the biggest novels over the last year. You can’t go anywhere without seeing this novel whether it is listicles or physical bookstores.

In second place was Yellowface and that is a novel I wouldn’t have guessed to be the second most read fiction book of 2025. I am glad it it is because it is a phenomenal novel and one I enjoyed a lot. K. F. Huang is a talented writer and I am excited about her new book Katabasis set to release in the near future!

Coming in at third is Intermezzo and unfortunately, I know little about this novel. Sally Rooney is best known for her novel Normal People and she has written another novel that people will talk about for the rest of the 2020s. 

My favorite book on this list is Demon Copperhead and it is easily one of the best books I have read this year. Few novels have resonated as strongly as this novel has and this is one novel I would recommend every book lover to read.
