You may have seen Barnes & Noble’s best books of 2025 list and many people think it is too early for that. Nonetheless, we will still look out their lists and this one is all about the best mystery and thriller books of 2025!

This is one of my favorite genres and easily the one I have the most this year. The fact that it’s because of Agatha Christie novels is beside the point. Without further ado, you can see the full list below!

Best Mystery & Thriller Books of 2025!

One of the biggest mystery novels of the year has to be Dan Brown’s newest novel The Secret of Secrets. Brown is one of the biggest authors in the world and he knows how to write a novel with a million plot twists. I am over Brown’s style of writing but his latest novel has been quite popular with tons of people.

I love a good collaborations and it seems like Barnes & Noble does too. Gone Before Goodbye by Harlan Coben and Reese Witherspoon is a big name collaboration that is sure to grab headlines and many eyes by onlookers.

King of Ashes by S. A. Cosby is the one I am eager to read because Crosby’s novels are always well written. I haven’t made much of a dent in this year’s mystery novels but I hope to change that soon. I am adding a bunch of these novels to my to-read list as we speak.
