Barnes & Noble has already released its list of the best books of 2025 and we are here for it! Keep reading to find out which books were chosen by Barnes & Noble as the best books of 2025!
Getting a best books of 2025 in the middle of October wasn’t something I expected but here we are. Barnes & Noble has beat everyone with the first list of the best books of 2025. But many people including me feel like it is a bit too early. We still have two and a half months left which is a lot!
Unfortunately for me and most readers, Barnes & Noble made over a dozen lists and trying to write all the books here is not something I will be doing. Instead, I will be sharing some of the books from the main lists and might share the other lists in the coming days separately. You can see the list below!
Barnes & Noble’s Best Books of 2025!
- Mona’s Eyes by Thomas Schlesser
- Buckeye by Patrick Ryan
- Maggie; or, A Man and a Woman Walk into a Bar by Katie Yee
- The Secret of Secrets by Dan Brown
- Gone Before Goodbye by Harlan Coben , Reese Witherspoon
- The Widow: A Novel by John Grisham
- Wings: The Story of a Band on the Run by Paul McCartney
- Mother Mary Comes to Me by Arundhati Roy
- Awake: A Memoir by Jen Hatmaker
- Vanya and the Wild Hunt by Sangu Mandanna
- You’ve Found Oliver by Dustin Thao
- Alchemised by SenLinYu
- Katabasis by R. F. Kuang
- Brimstone by Callie Hart
- Great Big Beautiful Life by Emily Henry
- Say You’ll Remember Me by Abby Jimenez
I will give Barnes & Noble some credit for releasing the first list of the best books of 2025. But it feels like they included most books and it doesn’t feel like they made any difficult picks.
From this list, I can’t really tell which books are good and worth reading. I will have to see a few other lists before I can accurately judge this list. Releasing over a dozen lists makes me feel like Barnes & Noble was trying to beat everyone to the punchline and grab headlines. Which they did so good job I guess. Happy reading!
