Bestselling author Dan Brown will be releasing a new book titled The Secret of Secrets which will continue Angels and Demons protagonist Robert Langdon’s adventures.
Brown is best known for his popular novel The Da Vinci Code which was adapted into a movie with the same name starring Tom Hanks. This is the sixth book in the Robert Langdon series, the fifth one was released in 2017.
In the latest novel, Langdon finds himself in Prague, attending his girlfriend Katherine Solomon lecture. She is going to release a “book that contains startling discoveries about the nature of human consciousness and threatens to disrupt centuries of established belief.”
A murder during the trip leads to Katherine disappearing with her manuscript and Langdon targeted by a powerful organization. Langdon has to find Katherine before his assiliants find him or his girlfriend, looking for clues in New York and London as he races against time.
Brown’s longtime editor Jason Kaufman said that “Dan always amazes me with his masterful plotting and prescient ideas. The Secret of Secrets delivers ingeniously, unveiling a fascinating world – with twists you’ll never see coming. This is classic Dan Brown.”

I don’t know if I agree that this will be the biggest publishing event if 2025 and how much hype there is around Brown in 2025. But only time will tell. The novel is set to release on Sept. 9, 2025 and is available for preorder now.

We’ll see if it is is the “biggest publishing even in 2025” sounds like the same old Robert Langdon cookie cutter book. I enjoy his books so I hope not.
