This has been an amazing year for new books and it is sad seeing this year finally come to an end. The good news is that we will be flooded with end of year lists and we finally have TIME’s list of the best fiction books of the year out.
What I have loved about this year’s lists are that they all feel very different. Almost all the lists have Martyr! by Kaveh Akbar and James by Percival Everett. They are undisputedly two of the best books of the year. But besides those two books, every list seems to choose their own eight books and I am all for it.
TIME is a credible publication in my eyes when it comes to books and this list reaffirms that belief. They are in tune and care about books and this list shows it. You can see the full list below!
