Set 183 years before the events of The Lord of the Rings trilogy movie by Peter Jackson, the animated movie will tell the story of Helm Hammerhand, king of Rohan, as his family defends their kingdom against enemies. Who would have guessed that The Lord of the Rings would be animated in 2024? You can watch the trailer below

This movie was created using tidbits about the history of Rohan’s rulers. On top of that, the movie was fast-tracked because of fears of losing the rights to J.R.R. Tolkien’s novels. I, for one, am happy that this was made into a movie and I am here for new The Lord of the Rings material.
