Dan Simmons is also a name that many fans of horror will know. His novels are detailed and will give you nightmares, never trusting another soul again. In Carrion Comfort, a few select beings have physic powers and can control people using their powers to do what they want. But a few people discover their secret and plan to seek revenge for all the harm they have done.

If you like horror novels, then you will love Frankenstein. It is a classic that has aged well over the past two centuries. Read the novel that many consider the first sci-fi novel and a novel that asks philosophical questions that readers are still thinking about.
