The Best Mystery Books of All Time

The King and Queen of Mystery

This list includes timeless novels such as The Hound of the Baskervilles by Arthur Conan Doyle and Murder on the Orient Express by Agatha Christie. Doyle and Christie have shaped the genre and their imprint is seen on many novels that made the list.

Another author on the list that I enjoyed a lot is Dashiell Hammett. His novels capture the early 1900’s atmosphere perfectly and his stories are always action packed and well written. The list includes classics and more modern books that captured the attention of the masses.
