Rapper Kanye West admits that he doesn’t read any books and compares them to brussel sprouts.
In an interview with Alo Yoga’s CEO and co-founder Danny Harris, West answers Harris’ question about a particular book by replying “When you said I hadn’t read this book, I actually haven’t read any book,” he said. “Reading is like eating Brussels sprouts for me.”
Kanye West Launches A Private School
While this may not surprise many people, it is interesting because he has launched a private school called Donda University. The irony may be lost on Kanye but at least he owns up to it.
If you are opening a school, it is a good idea to be a fan of education and reading. While the opening of a private school may or may not be a money grab, it is still going to draw in a lot of students because of the name brand.
I will give Kanye credit for just saying that he doesn’t read instead of attacking books or reading. He doesn’t go on to explain why that is so but to each their own. He is missing out on amazing books. Not every great book is adapted into a tv show or a movie. But a lot of tv shows and movies originate from books.
