Cuban’s first company, MicroSolutions was sold for $6 in 1990. He followed that up by founding and selling Broadcast.com to Yahoo for $5.7 billion. In 2000, Cuban bought majority stake in the Dallas Mavericks for $285 million. He sold his majority stake for $3.5 billion and still retains control of basketball operations as well as keeping shares in the team.
