The Best Books of 2023
This list contains some of the biggest books of 2023 as well as books that I haven’t seen on other lists before. Everyone seems to agree that King: A Life by Jonathan Eig is an amazing book. It might end up being the best nonfiction book of the year come December.
But Eig isn’t the only author that has made a splash this year with his book. The Covenant of Water by Abraham Verghese is another book that seems to be in the run as one of the best books of the year. Salman Rushdie’s novel Victory City is also going to end up on many end of year lists.
Conclusion
This list chose their best books of the year for certain categories. That may have left other great books to not make this list but expect them to be on the final list by the New York Times. Not seeing Yellowface by R.F. Kuang and a few other notable novels makes me wonder what else this year has in store for us!
