Ten best fantasy books of all time!

Werd is an online website that dabbles in everything. I can’t say much about their credibility but seeing as they listed The Lord of the Rings first, that is a good sign. You can see their picks below.

The Ten Best Fantasy Books

I personally like this list because it includes surprises that make it interesting. It starts off with the classic Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien but right after mixes things up with Conan the Barbarian by Robert E. Howard. I haven’t seen this book ever crack a top ten fantasy list and when compared to modern works, it doesn’t stand a chance. But it holds a dear place for the writer at Werd.

The Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan is a classic as well as the next two books on the list. But things take a turn when The Stormlight Archives by Brandon Sanderson is listed. I loved this series and love the addition of it even if Mistborn by Sanderson is superior in my opinion. You can’t go wrong with either of them.

While I enjoyed The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis, I don’t think it should be in the top ten. But that’s just my opinion and others may consider it worthy. The next three are decent choices and I can see why they made the list.
