The Bone Witch trilogy by Rin Chupeco

A novel that I enjoyed a lot more than I expected is The Bone Witch by Rin Chupeco. It is a fantasy novel that follows Tea as she accidently brings her dead brother to life and learns how to be a witch. She leaves her home and apprentices under a witch and learns how to use her newfound abilities.
Last Chance to See
Many people are familiar with Douglas Adams and his popular series The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. Last Chance to See is about Adams and Carwardine’s adventures as they visit various locations, trying to species that are almost extinct. It is a true story of Adams visit to Madagascar in 1985.
