- The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse by Charlie Mackesy – Estimated Copies Sold: 2 million
- I’m Glad My Mom Died by Jennette McCurdy – Estimated Copies Sold: 2 million
- The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck by Mark Manson – Estimated Copies Sold: 2.14 million
- Atomic Habits: An Easy & Proven Way to Build Good Habits & Break Bad Ones by James Clear – Estimated Copies Sold: 2.5 million
- Spare by Prince Harry The Duke of Sussex – Estimated Copies Sold: 3.2 million
- Lessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus – Estimated Copies Sold: 4 million
These are the Best Selling Books of the Year so Far
You may have noticed that many of the books that are on the list weren’t released this year. Only two of the ten novels were released in 2023. The best selling novel on the list, Lessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus, benefited by being chosen by Oprah for her book club. Even then, selling 4 million copies is a lot and that only could have been achieved if people enjoyed it and recommended it to others.
The list includes some nonfiction books and Prince Harry’s Spare has done well since its release in January. I was surprised to see Jennette McCurdy’s book here. It is a great read and I have seen it being recommended by many people across the internet.
