Her meteoric rise helped her land multiple books on best-selling lists and It Ends With Us is one of her popular novels.
The movie is going to be directed by Reese Witherspoon. This will be the first of many adaptations of Hoover’s novels. The success of this novel will shape the rest of the 2020’s and what we end up seeing on the big screen.
Disney is looking to make a splash with their TV adaptation of Rick Riordan’s series Percy Jackson & the Olympians. The show will start by adapting the first novel, The Lightning Thief. This is a popular franchise and it deserves a great adaptation. The movies were mediocre and Disney has a chance to rectify that mistake. Only time will tell if this is a hit or another failed adaptation.
