Vox’s Best Books of 2022

Another day, another best book list of 2022. Today, Vox released their picks for their 16 best books of 2022. But unlike other lists, this one is more personal preference than rating the best books of the year.

Constance Grady is a senior correspondent for Vox and has curated this list. She says that cannot say with the books she chose are the best of the year. That is because “there are far too many books each year for one person to make such a judgment.,” she says. “But of all the books I’ve read, these were the ones that brought me — personally and as Vox’s book critic — the most joy and taught me the most. I hope that some of them do the same for you.”

Conclusion

To be honest, I do not know what to make of this list. I haven’t read any of the books and none of them ring a bell. You can do with the list what you like and hopefully you are able to find a few good reads because of it.

It feels like Vox wanted to make a best books of 2022 list and let one of their correspondent make the list. These lists seem kind of mandatory at this point and everyone else has made one, so why not. Until next time, happy reading!
