Nothing beats the joy of reading a new book and it surpasses all your expectations. Well, there is one thing that beats that; Rereading that book over and over again. This article will be about novels that I reread throughout the years.

Let’s start off the list with one of my all-time favoirite novel Fight Club by Chuck Palahniuk. I may have seen the move first and then read the novel afterwards. Brad Pitt did an amazing job and I revisit the movie often. But the novel goes into much more detail and the scenes stand out much better.

The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho

While Fight Club might be my all-time favorite novel, it is not my most read novel. That honor goes to The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. I keep finding myself going back to this novel because. It is like a compass that helps me find my sense of direction and refocus.

The Outsiders by S. E. Hinton

The oldest novel that I revisit has to be the Outsiders by S. E. Hinton. Some novels stay with you through the rest of your life and that has been true of this novel for me. I love the characters, the plot, and the poetry involved. But I love the ending leading back to the beginning of the novel which is the icing on the cake.

Honorable Mention

Those three novels are the ones I will reread the most often. Some honorable mentions include The Hobbit by J.R R. Tolkien, The Harry Potter Series by J. K. Rowling, The Bear and the Nightingale by Katherine Ardin and The Book Thief by Markus Zusak.

The list of novels that I reread will grow this year. And when I do reread them, expect a review if one hasn’t been written already! What novels do you find yourself revisiting over the years?
